• Account information — if you create an account, your email address and authentication credentials (managed by our authentication provider; we never see your password).
• Vehicle information — VINs or year/make/model/trim selections you enter, including vehicles saved to your fleet. VINs are sent to the NHTSA vPIC API to decode vehicle details.
• Saved data — saved parts, price-drop alerts, fleet vehicles, and quote preferences you create while signed in.
• Photos you scan — images you submit to the OEM part-number scanner are processed to extract part numbers and are not retained as a gallery.
• Usage data — standard technical logs (browser type, pages visited, errors) used to operate and improve the service.

We use browser local storage and cookies to keep you signed in, remember your selected vehicle, and store interface preferences. We do not use advertising cookies on PartTwin itself.

PartTwin links to third-party marketplaces, including eBay and CarParts.com. These links may contain affiliate tracking parameters. When you click them, the destination site may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy. PartTwin may earn a commission from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of eBay and CarParts.com.

We rely on a small number of processors to run the service: cloud database and authentication hosting, payment processing (Stripe) for Pro subscriptions, the NHTSA vPIC API for VIN decoding, and an AI vision provider for part-number scanning. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their function.

• Provide part interchange results, pricing, and fitment information.
• Maintain your account, saved parts, fleet, alerts, and quotes.
• Send price-drop alerts you explicitly configure.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Debug, secure, and improve the service.

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may delete saved parts, fleet vehicles, and alerts at any time from within the app. To request full account deletion, email jpmusana@hotmail.com.

If we update this policy, we will revise the date above. Continued use of PartTwin after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
